I was trained in Classical Dressage under H.L.M. van Schaik, and continued studies with Karl Mikolka, and a great many others. My teaching and coaching career spanned over 25 years, and my students competed in the lower to mid levels of Dressage, Combined Training, and Hunter/Jumpers. I have experience with all kinds of breeds of horses, and this has contributed so much to my basic knowledge and experience. I spent many of my early years working for a World Class barn, competing and winning in Combined Driving. We campaigned very successfully in Advanced Pony, Advanced Horse, and in Prelim. Pairs Divisions. I understand the rigors of training and conditioning horses, and the setbacks that interrupt brilliant careers of horses and riders. I am committed to providing research, information and experience to horse people, in order to maximize their potential, and the potential of their horses (or ponies). Primarily, because horseback riding is inherently risky, my first product is known to reduce injuries in young Thoroughbred racehorses. It was developed in the Netherlands by Agro-Solutions, and is being distributed all over Europe to horse and pet owners. It is called Siliforce Horses. Slight weaknesses in bone and connective tissue serve as a 'silent thief', and although not evident on the outside, this silent thief can strike at any time. I would want a horse that is as strong as possible, so that when uneven ground is underneath, and fatigue is beginning to set in, that misstep doesn't turn into a disaster. It is my goal to research and offer the best products and information. With that, it is my hope that people and their horses will reach their optimum health and performance level, and stay there longer. |
